September 2024
13 September – 6:30 PM — LES $HERIFF + The RÉPARATEUR + FOXHOLE + DA BASTA
This year, The 109 is kicking things off in style! Join us on Friday, September 13th from 6:30 PM at The 109, Embarcadère. On the menu: a friendly plancha/fries dinner and four amazing concerts!
Les $HERIFF
No one dared to dream of a comeback for Les $HERIFF. Yet here they are. The sound is tougher, the riffs are sharp, the rhythm tight, and the energy incredible. The melodies hit the mark — you’ll be singing them in the shower. This comeback from Les $HERIFF is a timeless interlude, promising fiery concerts, rediscovered youth, and monstrous choruses screamed in unison from the pit, all in contagious good spirit.

The Réparateur
With sharp lyrics and ultra-efficient music, The Réparateur hits right in the heart and gets everyone jumping. A guitar, a drum, and two loudmouths sing about the bitter truth of a complacent society more concerned with personal gain and appearances than with true values: sex, drugs, and rock’n’roll. After fifteen years of irreverence and true independence, the duo continues to carve its own uncompromising path, rejecting the diktats of trends and political correctness.

FoxHole
Founded in 2015, FoxHole has released two albums — Semper Fi and Jack of Heart — and played over 150 concerts throughout France. The band consists of four high school friends who, over the years, have grown into a tight-knit family. Influenced by classic Anglo-Saxon punk-rock bands and their descendants like The Clash, The Cure, Les Thugs, The Jam, and Joy Division, as well as the current scene with acts like Fontaines DC, IDLES, Rotten Mind, French Films…
FoxHole started out as an old-school punk-rock band and evolved into a mix of energetic post-punk and indie rock with melodic finesse. Deeply rooted in the DIY culture and alternative scene, the band’s members live in Clermont-Ferrand, a city that partly inspires the mood of their songs. FoxHole is like an urban Peter Pan fighting a desperate war against the rest of the world.

Da Basta
DA BASTA is a punk-garage band whose third EP, Wearesorry, was released in 2022. This trio from Auvergne has been performing non-stop since 2016. It’s on stage that they truly come alive: full of energy, humor, and explosive performances. In short, to understand DA BASTA, you have to see them live.

21 September 2024 – 20:30 – BLONDIN and the BANDE some TERRIENS + LES PEPE LY
With Blondin and the bande some terriens, rock and French chanson live in harmony: a sort of alliance of do-gooders where good vibes often take the lead. The result: a hybrid universe between Coluche and Bruce Springsteen, with lyrics that are sometimes militant, sometimes funny, a touch poetic, wrapped in rock-oriented sounds and real-life stories of characters met along life’s journey.

Punk jazz chanson with flowers, Les Pepe Ly take their audience on an emotionally powerful journey. Born from the encounter of two headstrong and stubborn minds, they unleash original, committed, feminist, inclusive, animalistic, and socially-conscious songs. With a wild guitar and a voice as soft as a panther, this duo, reminiscent of Rita Mitsouko, light candles for Janis Joplin.

October 2024
05 October 2024 – 20:30 — CLINTON FEARON & DJ RAOOL
From his native Jamaica to Seattle, with a music career as long as your arm, from the Gladiators to the Defenders and 13 solo albums, Clinton Fearon returns to France to celebrate the release of his 3rd acoustic album Survival Vibration. In an exclusive duo with talented guitarist Kubix, this singer-songwriter and musician continues to share a heartfelt message from a man who has dedicated his life to making the world a better place. With finely crafted music and poetic lyrics, he brings reggae to a broader audience who simply love beautiful songs.

DJ Raool spins rare gems strictly from vinyl. His sunny and eclectic selections will get everyone in the groove, setting the tone and extending the night in the same musical vein—heads nodding to the beat, skanking to syncopated reggae, and swaying to fiery rhythms.

12 October 2024 – 20:30 — HEADCHARGER & THE MERCURY RIOTS
With Sway, their eighth sonic punch to the face, Headcharger celebrate twenty years of devotion to heavy sounds and powerful riffs, fanning the flames of a fire ready to burn brighter than ever. Oscillating between stoner rock and the heaviest metal, their music can dive at any moment into the raw energy of ’90s grunge or the rage of hardcore. Unmistakable!

A high-impact rock band hailing from Los Angeles, The Mercury Riots bring the noise and launch their audience into a captivating rhythm full of groove and feeling. Melodic, intoxicating, powerful.

18 October 2024 – 20:30 — ŞATELLITES & LES ONDES CREUSES
A radiant group straight from the vibrant music scene of Tel Aviv, Şatellites build their sound on the shifting sands of Turkish folk and psychedelia, born from the electrification of the saz. Drawing on Western influences merged with traditional Middle Eastern rhythms and structures, the Israeli combo crafts a perfect blend of vibrant grooves and infectious melodies. Funky, energetic, exhilarating—this pulsating intensity will send you straight into orbit!

Les Ondes Creuses move with an undetermined speed that depends on the characteristics of the medium through which they propagate. The process is irreversible!
15 November 2024 – 20:30 — Chicago Blues Festival
Attention! Concert relocated to Théâtre Gabrielle Robinne
54th fall season for the legendary Chicago Blues Festival tour, launched in 1969!
After a detour to Mississippi in 2023, the tour returns to the capital of the blues this year, with a lineup mixing generations!
Leading the tour is one of the brightest talents of the new blues scene, Stephen Hull, just 25 years old, accompanied by his Trio Experience, set to join the legendary Alligator label and release a debut album in 2024!
Hailing from Wisconsin, Stephen never received any formal music training. Coming from a family where music is a daily companion, he picked up his first guitar at 14 and has never stopped since!
Joining Stephen and his band are two other key figures from the Chicago scene, participating in this legendary tour for the first time: Sheryl Youngblood and Dave Herrero!

Accompanying him is Dave Herrero, a rising star who made his name in Chicago and even crossed paths with his idol, the living legend Buddy Guy himself. His music blends folk ballads, rock, and the powerful blues that has become his signature style.
Dave Herrero grew up in the Tampa Bay area. Obsessed with American blues and rock and roll, he began his career at age 18.

In recent years, Sheryl Youngblood has made a strong impression on the Chicago blues scene. She appears at the June festival and delivers energetic performances in the city’s clubs. But the singer-drummer is no newcomer! She long sang with the acclaimed gospel group The Tommies, with whom she won a Grammy Award.

Bakû weaves her universe between two realities. Navigating between dreams and nightmares, this artist-producer shapes a world in her own image: deep, ethereal, dark, and at the crossroads of genres. She creates eclectic electronic compositions rich in textures, imbued with multiple influences. Often diving into a heavy, oppressive, dark, and dystopian atmosphere, her productions shift between dub, techno, drum and bass, hip-hop, and
ambient. Known for creating surprise, she juggles styles to deliver dynamic and unique live sets every time she performs.
In 2023, she released an album in collaboration with TetraHydroK and Jael on the ODGPROD label, and is preparing a new solo album (her 3rd) for early 2024: a soft journey, far more pop and colorful than her previous projects, blending nostalgia, love, and frustration.
From Clermont-Ferrand, Amajee delivers a rich and aesthetic electronic sound. Drawing on his experience composing for live performances and inspired by cinematic, choreographic, and theatrical imagery, he creates an open space for stylistic variation. His futuristic electro blends dub and drum’n’bass, sprinkled with glitch and more ambient explorations bordering on sound design.
Always aiming to surprise both himself and his audience, he presents his debut EP Void Verses: 6 original tracks, each with its own style, yet unified in one cohesive aesthetic of soaring flights and macabre dances. The chiaroscuro cover artwork throws us straight into Amajee’s imaginary world. A mix of composition, sampling, and world instrument recordings, this EP builds a unique atmosphere with dark melodic moods and deep, impactful basslines.
With Void Verses, a debut EP leaning toward electro-dub, Amajee explores a mix of stepper dub and liturgical chants. These astral ambiances, layered with a devastating beat, mark the first clearly danceable chapter of this new project.
